March 14, 2012 – Nine long years of bloody feud and misunderstanding between families residing in the adjacent barangays of Buricain and Matilak in Pigcawayan, Cotabato Province had ended recently in a reconciliation facilitated by the sought-intervention of highest leadership of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).

March 13, 2012 – The Malaysian contingents that leads the International Monitoring Team (IMT) – Mindanao Batch 7 for the Government of the Philippines (GPH) and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) Peace Process arrived at around 930am today at Awang Airport in Maguindanao.

March 10, 2012: Two members of the MILF Peace Panel have left Mindanao for Rome, Italy, and subsequently to Spain upon the invitation of Sant’Egidio and Conciliation Resources, (CR), separately, in order to have a glimpse on how the former  contributed to the signing of peace pacts especially in Mozambique, Congo, and the Balkans and the operation of autonomy in Catalan in Spain.

March 9, 2012: The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) has urged the Moros in Mindanao including those in the island provinces of Sulu, Basilan, and Tawi-Tawi to plant trees to help ease the disastrous effects of climate change, provide lumber for future generation, and as source of income.
