January 26, 2012: The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) has urged anew the Aquino administration to freeze all gas and oil bidding contracts in areas claimed by the Moros as part of their ancestral domain until the issue is finally settled by the parties in the negotiating table.

January 21, 2012: Amidst the growing fragmentation and topsy-turvy situation among the members of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF), big numbers of them are continuously joining the Moro Islamic Liberation (MILF).

January 20, 2012 – The unrelenting joint efforts of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and the Government of the Philippines (GPH) yielded to the released of kidnap victim Romy Cabaya by his abductors a couple of days ago in Maguindanao.

Cabaya was released at about midnight in Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao last January 18, sources from the GPH – MILF Adhoc Joint Action Group (AHJAG) conveyed yesterday.

January 19, 2012: A leader of a militant Moro youth organization told OIC Regional Governor of the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) Mujiv Hataman to stick to pro-people policies and programs in order to minimize the disastrous effects of the entity that he was appointed to, which is designed to perpetuate Moros’ serfdom to Manila’s neo-colonialism.
