July 28, 2010 - The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) has reiterated new that the 18 or 23 ethno-linguistic indigenous tribes of Mindanao have no quarrel with their Islamized indigenous people over their ancestral domain claims in the region. We are both victims of landgrabbers from Luzon and the Visayas; we must put up common efforts to protect our remaining lands.
This was the statement of Lawyer Lanang Ali, in response to call by some IP leaders that they should sit in the peace talks as a third party because they are caught in the conflict.
