MILF PIP hosts GPH - MILF Peace Process and BBL scenario building workshop in Davao City

The MILF Peace Implementing Panel hosted a GPH - MILF Peace Process, and Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL) Scenario Building Workshop at Hotel Tropika, Davao City from January 21 - 23 , 2018 with support from Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue (CHD), and European Union. 

The concept of the workshop is to appreciate and analyze the current situation on the GPH - MILF Peace Process, and the uncertainty of the passage of a CAB-Compliant BBL in Congress.

The said workshop was attended by different stakeholders, and key actors of the peace process. They are being prepared on how to manage the different scenarios that might happen in the BBL, and the peace process as well. 

Chairman Mohagher Iqbal of the MILF PIP lectured on SAT (Structured Analytic Techniques) and discussed about System Thinking. He gave two workshops to the participants on analysis using different tools.   

Atty. Bong Montesa of UNDP (United Nation Development Programme) lectured on Transformative Scenario Planning, and likewise, let the participants engaged in a workshops on different scenarios that may take place on the peace process, and possible outcome of the Bangsamoro Basic Law.
