Bangsamoro Government is for all – Atty. Lanang Ali, Jr.

PAGADIAN CITY --- In his message delivered during the advocacy on Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL) at Pagadian City on September 29, Atty. Lanang Ali, Jr, emphasized that the BOL for all stakeholders in the Bangsamoro Region.

Atty. Ali, Jr., Technical Officer of the Bangsamoro Transition Commission (BTC), said fiscal autonomy is solely managed and utilized by the Bangsamoro government.

“Although the Government is strong but has no fiscal resources, it is useless. Likewise, the Government has fiscal resources but has no political strength, it is useless. In the Bangsamoro Organic Law, the Government has political autonomy and fiscal autonomy that will strengthen its programs,” Atty. Ali stressed.

“Bangsamoro Government is for all. It is an inclusive governance”, Atty Ali added. 

“Lake Lanao in Marawi City is the biggest source of energy that can supply whole Bangsamoro and outside Bangsamoro”, Atty. Ali said.

“The Bangsamoro Government has power in developing and utilizing its natural resources”, added Atty. Ali.

Meanwhile, Professor Esmael A. Abdula, Training Officer of Bangsamoro Leadership and Management Institute (BLMI), said “Peace negotiation is the most democratic process in seeking right to self-determination.”

“Bangsamoro Organic Law is the solution to Moro historical injustices committed against Moro people in the South of the Philippines.”

In the advocacy organized by Consortium of Bangsamoro Civil Societies (CBCS) this city, Abdula said the rights of indigenous people and Christians in the organic law are strengthened and protected.

Lieutenant Colonel Danilo S. Beltran, 102IID, Tabak Division of Philippine Army, said “We wish nothing but tranquility, peace and prosperity for all of us.”

“I encourage everyone on this advocacy that we will benefit, and our generation, from this government. Our government desires national progress and prosperity in our community”, LtCol Beltran said.
