MILF –Tawi-Tawi- Sama Provincial POLCOM Receives Rice Assistance from BARMM

MILF-Sama Province Provincial Political Committee under the Chairmanship of Prof. Abdulla A. Ahang received the rice assistance, Saturday, and was distributed to its different line agencies and members in different municipalities, barangays, and indigent residents in the province.
Staff of Prof. Ahang from provincial down to barangay level facilitated the relief operation, some of those were transported to the most vulnerable island communities to ensure that its members, and indigent families can receive the assistance.
Most of the beneficiaries were Seaweed Farmers, Fisher folks and other vulnerable families in the province.
The beneficiaries expressed their profound gratitude to BARMM Regional Government under Chief Minister Ahod Balawag Ebrahim for the assistance, and also to Prof. MP Ahang, and those behind this noble undertaking.
The BARMM program dubbed as “Project Tabang” is a big help to ease the hardships of people by providing them short term intervention during the emergence COVID-19 pandemic that badly affected peoples’ livelihood due to restrictions of movement by observing minimum health protocols imposed by authorities through its respective IATF agencies and LGUs.
The BARMM “Project Tabang” is not only rolled out in BARMM core areas but also in different Bangsamoro communities outside the BARMM which is a manifestation of BARMM inclusiveness particularly on social services delivery.
