BARMM Chief Minister warns public in dealing with unscrupulous organization

“My office has been receiving reports about an organization called BANGSAMORO DEFENCE SECURITY PROGRAM claiming to be affiliated with the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) and using photographs taken with me in order to recruit members among the Bangsamoro people here and abroad,” the statement said.
The BARMM chief minister said he neither recognized nor authorized any individual or organization in his capacity as interim chief minister or chair of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front to recruit members or solicit or collect membership fees in exchange of any benefit from the BARMM.
He advised the public to exercise prudence in dealing with unscrupulous individual behind the scam.
Chief Minister Ebrahim urged the people to report the said group to proper authorities for proper legal action.
