BARMM-Ministry of Health conducts mobile blood donation activity

MOH spearheaded the bloodletting initiative in partnership with Cotabato Regional and Medical Center.
“The said activity joined by the MOH- BARMM employees and other volunteers and personnel from different offices and sector. There were total of 44 donors voluntarily registered and recorded by the office,” the MOH stated in its Facebook page.
The undertaking, anchored on the health agency’s motto, "Kalusugan, nasa kamay MOH Bangsamoro!," aims to raise awareness that donating blood can help save lives and improve others’ health.
It further aims to encourage individuals to donate blood without any compensation in return.
Other entities in the Bangsamoro Region that regularly initiates blood donation drive is the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA).
Last June 21, 2020, BDA held its 45th Muslim Blood Donation (MBD) which coincides with the World Blood Donor Day.
