6ID pledges support for education, peacebuilding in BARMM

The 6th Infantry "Kampilan" Division (6ID) has pledged to cooperate with the Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE) in education initiatives and peace-building efforts in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
During a courtesy visit to Education Minister Mohagher Iqbal, 6ID Commander Major General Antonio G. Nafarrete emphasized the military's commitment to supporting education and promoting peace and stability in the region. He highlighted the importance of collaboration in fostering the development of BARMM's educational sector.
Iqbal expressed his appreciation for the 6ID's continued support and dedication to the welfare of Bangsamoro communities. He stressed the crucial role the military plays in ensuring peaceful and secure environments conducive to education and development.
The meeting signified a strengthening of the partnership between the military and the MBHTE, reinforcing their shared goals of advancing education, peace, and sustainable development in the region.
