KCC Mall of Cotabato Inaugurated, Attended by Government Officials and Business Leaders

The new commercial hub, located along Parang Road, is expected to generate thousands of jobs for local workers in Cotabato City and neighboring areas within the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
Among the distinguished guests were BARMM Interim Chief Minister Abdulraof Macacua and Minister Muslimin Sema of the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MOLE). Other BARMM officials attended the event.
Cotabato City officials that were present were Cotabato City Mayor Mohammad Bruce Matabalao, City Vice Mayor Joharie Butch Abu.
Their presence underscored the regional government’s commitment to improving labor conditions and expanding employment opportunities in the Bangsamoro region.
"When peace and good governance are in place, development follows. Investors come in when they see stability, potential, and reliable services. That’s exactly what Cotabato City offers today, and we should all be proud," Macacua stated.
The Chief Minister described the establishment of KCC Mall as a shared victory for the Bangsamoro people, symbolizing economic progress and reinforcing the city's position as a commercial hub.
"The opening of KCC Mall of Cotabato is not just about a new building—it’s about opportunity, hope, and progress. This is a big win for the people," he added.
In his message, Minister Sema highlighted the mall’s role in job creation. He emphasized that large-scale investments like this play a crucial part in reducing unemployment and strengthening the region’s economic stability.
The opening of KCC Mall of Cotabato is expected to create hundreds of new jobs in retail, food services, maintenance, and administration.
The establishment of KCC Mall of Cotabato marks a significant step in the city's economic growth, further solidifying its position as a key commercial center in the region. With a floor area of 180,000 square meters, KCC Mall of Cotabato is now the largest branch of the KCC shopping chain in Mindanao. It will be open for customers on April 2, 2025.
