Peace advocates attend Mindanao-wide Interreligious Dialogue Solidarity Conference in Davao

Peace advocates from different parts of Mindanao attended the Mindanao-wide Interreligious Dialogue Solidarity Conference in Davao City last Thursday (Sept 22) aimed at drawing support from the followers of different faiths in Mindanao towards peace and unity. 

The activity was themes: "A Common Word Among Us in Mindanao: Love of God, Love of Neighbor, Love of Earth."

Prominent religious leaders engaging in peace advocacy in Mindanao shared their inputs and thoughts in building communities with peaceful coexistence among its people despite of having different cultures and beliefs.

There has been group planning on the key steps to move forward as community of religious peace builders in Mindanao.

The participants also agreed to re-echo in their respective community the learning they acquire from the event.

The event, organized by the Catholic Relief Services, is in support to the peaceful resolve of conflict in Mindanao.

The speakers urged fellow Mindanaoans to promote respect, understanding and unity.
