MILF Facilitates Settlement of Clan Feud in Datu Blah Sinsuat Town

The Dacula & Dabpil Families who are cousins along with their family members finally settled their feud on March 22, 2018 at Camp Darapanan, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao in the presence of leaders of Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), and some government officials.

Their feud started in 2010 due to a land dispute in Barangay Meti, Datu Blah Sinsuat, Maguindanao resulting to the death of 8 family members. 

Former Datu Blah Sinsuat Mayor Marshal Sinsuat expressed his gratitude to the MILF leadership led by Al Haj Murad Ebrahim, Chair of the MILF for responding to his request to facilitate the settlement of the clan’s feud.

He also expressed his thanks to Regional Reconciliation and Unification Council-ARMM, Maguindanao Provincial Conflict and Management headed by Abdulbasit Benito, RRUC Executive Director. and Gordon Saifullah, Head of Conflict Management of MILF.

The facilitators urged the two warring families to respect the resolution of their conflict.

Chairman Alhaj Murad "almost 80% of our efforts (milf leadership) is focused on conflict settlement among Bangsamoro people". He ask parties for IKHLAS and to comply for the resolution.
