In line with its mission to address the needs of the Bangsamoro people, TABANG BARMM (Tulong Alay sa Bangsamorong Nangangailangan - Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao) provided various agricultural inputs to the constituents of Sitio Puwago, Barangay Datu Dani, Kiamba, Sarangani Province, on Thursday, November 28.

The BIAF farmer-beneficiaries received 100 sacks of fertilizer, 50 gallons of pesticides, 100 packs of vegetable seeds, and 15 boxes of HIP, and 10 boxes of agricote.

Abuhurayra Maulana, former Deputy Brigade Commander of the 107th Base Command, expressed his gratitude, saying that the support from TABANG BARMM would significantly boost agricultural production in their community and improve the farmers' livelihood.

“Malaking pasasalamat namin sa TABANG-BARMM, at sa namamahala rito na sina Assistant Senior Minister Engr. Mohajirin Ali, Abobaker Edres, project manager ng TABANG BARMM, at sa aming pinuno na Bangsamoro Chief Minister Al Haj Murad Ebrahim, sa napakalaking tulong na ito,” he said.

“Ngayon lang namin naranasang makatanggap ng tulong mula sa gobyerno na ganito kakumpleto na kagamitang pang-agrikultura,” Abdulmalik Watamama said.

This is the first time we have received such comprehensive agricultural tools from the BARMM government.

The TABANG BARMM program was launched by the Bangsamoro Government with the goal of addressing the needs of communities in the region. The program’s activities typically include distributing financial aid, food, medical assistance, and livelihood support, as well as implementing initiatives that promote economic development, social welfare, and peace-building efforts in BARMM.
