UBJP rallies Basilan: Al Haj Murad draws strong turnout at grand proclamation

LAMITAN CITY, Basilan — The United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) held its grand proclamation rally at the Lamitan City Gymnasium here Monday, drawing candidates, party officials, members, and supporters from across the province.

MILF Chairman Al Haj Murad Ebrahim, concurrent UBJP  president, drew a strong reception from the crowd upon his arrival at the venue.

Earlier that day, UBJP Vice President and MILF First Vice Chairman Mohagher Iqbal, together with party officials and candidates, paid a courtesy call on Basilan Governor Mujiv Hataman to discuss continued engagement with local leaders and stakeholders as the party presents its slate, platform, and vision for the Bangsamoro region.

The delegation then proceeded to the campaign activities in Lamitan City, where UBJP officials and candidates met with residents and supporters ahead of the Sept. 14 Bangsamoro Parliamentary Elections.

The rally is part of UBJP's campaign schedule across the Bangsamoro region as the party continues to present its candidates and platform to voters ahead of the polls.
