Citizens Crime Watch, Rotary Club-Davao Chapter send Relief Goods for Maguindanao IDPs

A group of concerned citizens, headed by Ms. Valerie Abella turned-over to the GPH- MILF Peace Implementing Panels packs of assorted relief goods and drinking water for Maguindanao displaced residents. They presented the goods during the meeting of the peace panels in Davao City, and was transported to Cotabato City on September 7, 2017,

It was received by the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) and to be distributed as soon as clearance from authorities is obtained.

 The team and other members of Citizens Crime Watch and Rotary Club- Davao Chapter made efforts in soliciting donations to help victims in the conflict-affected areas of Maguindanao. 

Aside from donations given by Mindanao members of their group, some of the mixed items of goods came from Visayas  and Luzon friends, said Ms Debbie Atuel and Ms May Divino. 

The two heads of GPH-MILF Peace Implementing Panels, Acting Chairman Nabil Tan and Chairman Mohagher Iqbal, respectively expressed thanks for the assistance received on behalf of the people of Maguindanao.
