BCN, FBCSO hold two-day seminar on Basic Communication

COTABATO CITY. May 10, 2018. The Bangsamoro Communication Network (BCN) in partnership with the Federation of Bangsamoro Civil Society Organization (FBCSO) conducted a two day seminar on Basic Communication held at Bangsamoro Leadership and Management Institute,.Simuay, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao on May 5-6, 2018.
The training workshop was facilitated by Joker Pasandalan , BCN - Paguilidan ko Iranun Chapter and currently FBCSO Focal Person in Kapatagan, Lanao del Sur.
The activity aims to enhance the capabilities of hand held radio holder-members of BCN as a platform for their advocacy on the peace process particularly the popularization of the Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL).
The seminar was attended by BCN members from different Municipalities of Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur and Iranun province, and officers of the youth organization from SND, Lanao del Norte.
Worthy to mention was the attendance of amateur radio group of SND, Lanao del Norte headed by Mando Mama and BCN - Ranaw Unayan Chapter headed by Abdulazis M. Ampaso.
Engr. Mohajirin Ali, Secretariat of the MILF Peace Implementing Panel who represented the Chair Mohagher Iqbal gave a lecture on the Proposed Bangsamoro Government and Federalism.
Program Director of DXUP ( Upi Community Media) Alih Anso presented a topic on the proper use of hand held radio considering he was once a Regional Chief of REACT XII.
Edres Gumander of Iranun Province gave lecture on Public Speaking that could boost self-confidence and articulation on their advocacy.
The seminar was graced by BLMI Executive Director Ustadz Ahmad Mahmoud who gave an Islamic Orientation during the opening program and FBCSO President Junn P. Salik who shared his thoughts on MNLF - MILF convergence as initiated by MILF Peace Implementing Panel.
