ENPolD Holds Sectoral Dialogue On B.O.L

Zambonga City - Enhancing Political Dialogue for inclusive Peace in the Bangsamoro (ENPolD) in cooperation with ZABIDA gathered some three hundred participants from different sectors to discuss provisions of R.A 11054, otherwise known as Bangsamoro Organic Law.

The gathering was held at Madrid 2 hall,Palacio Del Sur, Marcian Garden Hotel, Gov. Camins Avenue, Zambonga City on September 26,2018. 

Bangsamoro Transition Commission (BTC) Commissioner Hussin U. Amin gave enlightening lecture on the salient points of the BOL as well as its constitutionality and frame work.

Some provisions of R.A 9054 (Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao) were also mentioned in comparison with the B.O.L such as Bangsamoro identity, Territory, Municipal water, Governmental structure among others.

Notably, for the first time in the history of Moro Law Forum, affirmative responds from the sectoral participants was heard. There were no single negative reactions as in the fast not even the lackeys of lady mayor Maria Isabel Climaco Salazar.

Sectoral participants were from the Philippines National Police (PNP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), academe, Youth, Ulama, Indigenous people (IPs), Catholic Priests, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and Women.

Also in attendance were catholic priest Angel Calvo, former WMSU President Dr. Grace Rebollos, who served as forum moderator; Dean College of Law WMSU Zamboanga City Atty. Edwardo Sanson; and Program Manager Professor Reydan Lacson of ZABIDA.
