Peace Dialogue-Conference with youth leaders on PCVE and RA11054 held

Davao City –Thirty Five (35) young leaders from the Bangsamoro (ARMM), North Cotabato, Sarangani Province and other areas converged to discuss issues confronting youth development highlighting efforts on Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (P/CVE), the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL), including discrimination against minorities at Panorama Summit Hotel, Davao City on November 27-29, 2018.

The delegates were all heads of different diverse organizations existing and working vigorously in attaining collective means of peace among different narratives and advocacies.

The said dialogue- conference opened space for these leaders to share best practices, challenges and plans to confront mentioned issues in envisioning better communities to live in. 

Islamic perspectives on Violent Extremism, Effective advocacy messaging and campaigning and the presentation of PCVE study were also discussed.

The activity was initiated by forumZFD in partnership with Responsible Young Leaders' Organization (RYLO)

“It is grateful times spent together with these young leaders who have sincere hearts and passion to work for peace,” said Nas Dunding, one of youth leaders in North Cotabato who helped organized the event. 

“Maraming salamat po. We may say what we did was the simplest one, buy its impact of replicating best practices we have learnt from one another is a good story to further continue. “And I affirm with what the speakers said, that Bangsamoro and this country are in good hands. Mabrook everyone! Salamat. More peace works to do for humanity and our loving Bangsa”, Dunding added.
