ZAMBOANGA CITY- “Moving forward through strong political will are much needed in our present endeavor while performing our mandates and responsibilities here in Zamboanga City,” Ustadz Taha Daranda, United Bangsamoro Justice Party Provincial Chief Executive told UBJP officers, and other attendees during their meeting on Sunday, September 15, in this city.

In his welcome message, Ustadz Daranda said that Bangsamoro in Zamboanga City should not worry, and lost hope even though it is outside of the BARMM core territory. He cited a promising provision in the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL) or the Republic Act. 11054 related to development programs for Bangsamoro people living outside of the BARMM.

We have been supporting the peace-building efforts since then even though we are in the state of uncertainty. Now, we have the BARMM, hence, we need to sustain it for our common good, and for peace and development,” one chieftain of the IPs said.
