Tawi-Tawi UBJP Task Force organizing team conducts Barangay orientation

BONGAO TAWI-TAWI- To strengthen the United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) in Tawi-Tawi province, the Task Force Organizing Team led by MP Prof.  Eddie M. Alih conducted orientation for Barangay Interim Officers, at Beach side Inn at Bongao Tawi-Tawi Monday, January 13. 

Prof. MP Abdulla A. Ahang, Core Officer of Tawi-Tawi UBJP Task Force Organizing Team, and the Chairman of MILF Provincial Political Committee for Sama Province was represented by his Staff Tirsp S. Tahir, also officer of Bangsamoro Leadership and Management Institute (BLMI) to speak on his behalf.

In his welcome message, Mr. Tahir urged the newly-designated interim officers comprising MILF Organic members and supporters to intensify their efforts in community organizing for UBJP new membership in their respective barangays. He also urged them to always support the BARMM Governance. 

The advent of the new Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) is just the starting point of the Bangsamoro to right to self-determination, Tahir told the participants. 

The BARMM under interim Chief Minister Al Haj Ahod Balawag Ebrahim is advocating “Moral Governance” that needs to be sustained and supported by everyone through strengthening the platform of UBJP as its official political Party, Tahir also said.

Prof. MP Alih presented the Barangay Orientation mechanics for Organizing Team by elucidating the UBJP rationale, and other related issues that can help strengthen the UBJP membership.

He said that in organizing, commitment and dedication are most needed in order to succeed, and so we should unite our strength for the betterment of Bangsamoro people regardless of political interest to attain our common aspiration, and value our elder’s struggle until we attain our common goal for a Bangsamoro Region.”

Fortunately, we have now the BARMM, MP Alih added.

In the open forum, the participants expressed their individual perceptions and other crucial issues regarding the UBJP, and among others.

The resource speakers clarified, and enlightened the participants on issues that baffled them especially on the issue of new UBJP membership, and among others. 

The participants were from the Municipality of Panglima Sugala, Tawi-Tawi headed by its community leader Mr. Alvie Sammani, and Misang Hasim.

The half-day activity was facilitated by Senior Staff of MP’s Mr. Gabra Abdurahman Staff of MP Ahang and also MILF Provincial Information Director and Ms. Katherine, Staff of MP Eddie Alih.
