A head of a IDP family said the ration is of big help for them because it is really hard to live in evacuation center especially during this time where we are fighting an unseen enemy, the Corona Virus that threatens the lives of people, and a rido (clan feud) that adversely affects the livelihood of the villagers. The IDPs called on the parties to the ‘rido to settle their disputes peacefully.

The conflict in Talitay is believed to be an offshoot of the outcome of the last election that left thousands of Moro families displaced, and now temporarily settled in evacuation centers.
