BARMM records 23 new Covid-19 cases, 16 new recoveries

There were16 Covid-19 infected individuals who just recovered from the disease summing the recoveries to 719 in the entire Bangsamoro region.

The agency said 36 people have died due to Covid-19 out of the recorded 941 total cases.

Of the 186 active cases in the region, 56 are admitted in health facilities while 130 stay in different quarantine facilities.

Among the provinces of BARMM, Lanao del Sur and Marawi City recorded the highest number of active cases (87) followed by Tawi-Tawi (65) and Maguindanao (31). 

Bangsamoro IATF continues to remind the people in the region to adhere to health protocols like observing 1 meter distancing, hand washing and use of alcohol, wearing of face mask and face shield and staying at home.

The Bangsamoro Government’s Project TABANG (Tulong Alay sa Bangsamorong Nangangailangan) hss started its second wave of relief assistance in Ranaw Region.  The Project has allotted 30,000 sacks for Marawi City.
