MAFAR, CBCS sign deal for intensified delivery of services to farmers, fisher folks

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR) and the Consortium of Bangsamoro Civil Society, Inc. (CBCS) signed a deal on Thursday (Oct 22) to collaborate for the intensified implementation and monitoring of MAFAR activities in programs, MAFAR posted at its Facebook page.
The heads of MAFAR and CBCS, Minister Dr. Mohammad S. Yacob and Guiamel M. Alim respectively, signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) which formalized the ties between the two institutions to help farmers and fisher folks.

Alim said, “It is not the first time that we will work together; I feel so happy, that we are organically joined together into a journey of collaborate for more quality services for the Bangsamoro.”

On the other hand, Minister Yacob expressed his happiness for the realization of their collaboration citing the MOA signing shall be the “beginning of more inclusive services that will be offered to the Bangsamoro farmers.” 

MAFAR has been implementing programs, projects and activities benefiting farmers and agrarian reform beneficiaries for them to become productive and progressive addressing the issue on poverty and food security.
