BARMM CM Ebrahim lauds winners of CSC awards

Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao– Chief Minister Murad Ebrahim of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) lauded the regional winners of the Civil Service Commission’s (CSC) search for outstanding civil servants this year, said a report by PNA, Thursday, November 19, 2020.
He said that they should be emulated to attain "moral governance".

“We look forward to having more of you in the bureaucracy,” Ebrahim said during Thursday morning’s virtual awarding ceremonies.

Dominador Gonzales Jr., acting chief of CSC-BARMM, said the regional winners for this year’s search for outstanding government workers are mayors Hanie Bud of Maluso, Basilan (CSC Pagasa Award individual category) and Nashiba Gandamra Sumagayan of Taraka, Lanao del Sur (CSC-Pagasa Award Individual category), Vice Mayor Ali Lawi Sumandar of Piagapo, Lanao del Sur (CSC Dangal ng Bayan Award), and Sitti Alhada Abayan of the Social Security System of Sulu (Dangal ng Bayan Award).

Likewise, the Gandingan team of the Mindanao State University (MSU-Marawi City) was the recipient of the CSC Pagasa Award (group category).

“To our dear winners, your work as certified by the CSC proves that the Bangsamoro has what it takes when it comes to excellence in government service,” Ebrahim said. “In fact, it is with government workers like you who inspire us to embrace moral governance as we hire competent individuals in this infant bureaucracy."

Gonzales said the annual search aims to recognize deserving public servants who excel in their respective fields or serve as models for exemplary behavior.

“It is part of the government’s rewards and incentives mechanism under the Honor Awards Program (HAP),” he added. (PNA)
