Hikmatul Ijtimaaey Institute assures continued support to Bangsamoro Children amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic

“It is our assurance to you as parents and the community as a whole that we will not decline to continue educating our children, children of the Bangsamoro, God willing, amidst the prevalence of the Corona Virus Disease – 19 (COVID -19) pandemic,” said Engr. Rasul Piang, Chairman of the Hikmatul Ijtimaaey Institute (HII).
He said this during the meeting with the Parents, Teachers and Community Association (PTCA) of HII on Thursday, January 7, 2021, while he also mentioned other commitments of the management to not only double but multiply the efforts of the HII in order to sustain the quality education of the pupils despite the outbreak of Covid-19.

“As part of strengthening the education of our children, we even maximized our participation with the Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE) as part of our support to the Bangsamoro government,” Piang also said.

“With this, we also thank Member of Parliament Mohagher M. Iqbal, MBHTE Minister for his efforts to strengthen the quality of education in our homeland,” said Prof. Saiden Antok, HII President.

“One of the manifestations of our efforts in strengthening the education of our children by HII despite the COVID-19 pandemic, we have engaged in capacitating our teachers through their participation in the number of trainings conducted by MBHTE,” said Muslimin Abdul, HII Principal.

“We see the strong and intact commitment of the HII in its maximum efforts to better equip us despite the COVID-19 pandemic to further improve our teaching performance in the school,” Lihatina U. Ansa, one of the teachers of HII.

“We salute the HII management for its firm and strongest commitment to continue and even strengthen the education of our pupils despite the challenge of COVI-19 pandemic,” said Alimujahid Kamsa, PTCA President.

“Also, as part of strengthening our support to children’s education, the HII also joins with the Tarbiyah Committee of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) in facilitating series of community-based seminar-workshop geared towards transforming the mindset of the parents to upgrade their support to the education of their children,” Abdul said.   

“HII is a private school established in school year 2014 – 2015 from kindergarten with the aim in view of righteously molding particularly the children of the martyred MILF fighters,” added Abdul.

HII is located at Sitio Balas, Barangay Muti, Guindulungan, Maguindanao under the perimeter area of Camp Badr, one of the satellite camp of the MILF thus most of its pupils are children of the members of the Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces (BIAF).

Since then, the school has been making yearly increase from kinder to grade 1, 2, 3, 4 and now in its grade 5 for the current academic year 2020 – 2021.
