BYC Comm. Dunding urged Moro youth to include orphanage homes in programs, initiatives

Commissioner Nasserudin D. Dunding of the Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC) urged the Moro youth organizations to include in their programs and initiatives the various orphanage homes during the Pre-State of the Bangsamoro Youth Address on Monday (Aug 9) in Cotabato City. “My fellow youth champions, let us also not forget to include in our programs and initiatives that various orphanage homes that are in our localities,” said Dunding, BYC Commissioner of Maguindanao, Cotabato City and 63 Barangays that comprise the Special Geographic Areas of Cotabato Province.

He cited that many of the orphans in the orphanage facilities might be children of Mujahideen (freedom fighters).

“…that of, we are responsible to them as their parents fought for us for where we are right now handling our Right to Self- Determination,” the young commissioner from Maguindanao explained.

Dunding added that the Moro youth must work hand-in-hand and faithfully empower and deliver the mandates of the BYC in support to the sustainability and strengthening the gains of the peace processes.

He added that the envisioned Bangsamoro government that is gained over decades of struggle is just starting.

“As you always hear from me, I would like to reiterate again the words of the Chief Minister Ahod B. Ebrahim that the Bangsamoro Government remains committed to support the empowerment and development of the youth in the region,” Dunding said.

Dunding gave his piece of the Pre-Bangsamoyo Youth Address encouraging fellow youth leaders to work for the welfare of the Bangsamoro youth.

He conveyed the BYC accomplishments in his area of jurisdiction during the said event that was attended by representatives of various Moro youth organizations and officials of the Bangsamoro government.

The young commissioner ended his speech saying, “Join us as we do and introduce meaningful REFORMS for our children and the next generations to come.”
