BYC Comm. Mohammad Faizal S. Alih delivers provincial SOBYA in Sulu

Commissioner Mohammad Faizal S. Alih of the The Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC) delivered his Pre-State of the Bangsamoro Youth Address at Notre Dame of Jolo College in Jolo, Sulu, on August 5, 2021.
 “My fellow young people, when I took my oath six months ago, I knew that the responsibilities associated to the position of commissioner are broad and particularly crucial in the implementation and delivering commission’s mandates, but deep within my heart there was a clear picture and pure intention of bringing changes to our youth sector in the province,” he conveyed.

Commissioner Alih cited the importance of providing responsive programs and services to the Moro youth. 

He added, “Elevating their status emotionally, spiritually and intellectually, and to foster solidarity among them, and inculcate into their minds, and hearts the importance of camaraderie.” 

The young commissioner also noted the importance of active involvement of the Moro youth to program implementations,
“Accounting the significant participation to all programs and activities geared towards development,” he said.

Commissioner Alih noted how the BYC do its undertaking to address the issues and concerns affecting the young constituents of the island province.

“Despite the challenges and difficulties, BYC- Sulu has never been hesitant in providing opportunities to make positive changes towards its constituents,”

The activity part of the weeklong International Youth Day commemoration spearheaded by the BYC that is chaired by MP Marjanie Mimbantas Macasalong, concurrently the BYC Commissioner for Marawi City and Lanao del Sur.

It aimed to convey to the constituents the accomplishments of the BYC together with various line agencies of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. (Source: BYC)
