Last May 21, 2022, UNYPAD-North Cotabato Cluster II Women Affairs Committee (NCCII WAC) spearheaded the bloodletting  activity held at UNYPAD-NCCII Office, Batulawan.
The activity was themed "Su Lugo Nengka na Umol Ko (Your Blood is My Life)."  A number of both members and non- members of the organization from the covered areas of UNYPAD- NCCII responded to the call for blood donation.

Abdulkadir Zaman, UNYPAD- Aleosan Chapter, and one of the donors pointed out his reason of donating his blood.

"I've been doing it for many times. I always bore in mind that donating my blood would help those in need. In shaa Allah," he said.

One of the organizers, Derhana Adil, WAC Secretary on Health and Disaster Management Committee, shared how the activity was realized.

"The activity was supposed to be part of our last year's plan, but come into fruition only this year," he related.
“But more than just an activity, bloodletting will save lives, both the recipients, and the donors themselves," she explained.

Thirty (30) donors were qualified and were able to donate blood according to the official list of CRMC.

The activity was done in coordination with the Rural Health Unit of Pikit and in collaboration with the Cotabato Regional and Medical Center (CRMC).

The Lutayan Municipal Chapter through its Committee on Da’wa and Education
held also a training on bathing corpse on May 22, 2022.

The activity was aimed to educate the participants with the proper procedure of performing Guslul Jana-zah or bathing on the corpse of a dead Muslim which is considered as a right of the person who died before burial and it is included in the teachings of the Islamic religion.

In the said activity, WAC Chairwoman Nisan Sandigan hoped that the knowledge on Islam will gradually increase especially through the said activity.
