BARMM donates coaster minibus to CRMC

COTABATO CITY – The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) donated on Monday, Oct. 17, a Hino minibus to the Cotabato Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in this city.
CRMC Medical Center Chief Dr. Ishmael Dimaren received the symbolic key of the minibus on behalf of the hospital from BARMM Chief Minister Ahod Balawag Ebrahim in a turnover ceremony held inside the Bangsamoro Government Center (BGC) Monday morning.

The CRMC said in a statement that “the coaster minibus can accommodate 24 passengers including the driver.”

The minibus will benefit hospital personnel who finish their shift duties from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. and need to go home safely.

“The management and staff of the Cotabato Regional Medical Center extend their gratitude to the BARMM government especially to Honorable Ahod B. Ebrahim, BARMM Chief Minister,” the CRMC said.

The CRMC is a government-owned hospital in this city that serves the mainland Bangsamoro and Central Mindanao regions.

On August 22, 2019, then President Rodrigo Duterte signed Republic Act No. 11391 increasing the bed capacity of the CRMC from 400 beds to 600 beds, and upgrading its service facilities and professional health care services.
