MHSD-BARMM constructs 50 houses in Sultan Kudarat town

COTABATO CITY – The Ministry of Human Settlement and Development-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MHSD-BARMM) will construct 50 houses in Barangay Darapanan, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte.
Engr. Zainodin Buisan, chief of the MHSD’s Planning and Design Division, spearhead the groundbreaking of the housing project in Barangay Darapanan, on Tuesday, Nov. 15. 

Some 50 indigent families in Maguindanao del Norte are expected to benefit from the resettlement project. 

"Each unit will be a one-story residential building with a 49 square meter floor area, two bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room area," Buisan said.

MHSD Director-General Esmael Ebrahim said the beneficiaries will be selected based on identified guidelines, in consideration of the needs of the community as well inputs from local stakeholders.

Ebrahim said other indigents in the Bangsamoro region are also expected to benefit from the housing project.
