Sultanate of Talik confers highest award of honor to NCMF Secretary Guiling Mamondiong

Datu Nasser Bordon Pendatun, Sr. Al Haj, the Paramount Sultan of Talik – SOSCSKSARGEN Darusallam awarded the "Most Illustrious Royal Order of Splendid Valour" to NCMF Secretary Mamondiong during the latter’s visit upon the invitation of the Sultan.
The award is in recognition of the secretary’s leadership of the NCMF, the premier government agency which provides services and program for the welfare of the Muslim Filipinos.
According to Sultan Nasser Pendatun the Sultanate of Talik is an independent traditional royal house in Southern Mindanao.
It was first ruled by the 1st Sultan Angaran sa Talik, also known as Mangelen or Ngelen.
The conferment was witnessed by the members of the Cabinet of the Sultanate of Talik and Moro religious and traditional leaders from Lanao who were attendees on the Muslim Visioning Conference on December 31, 2022.
Secretary Mamondiong expressed gratitude to the honor given by the Sultanate of Talik. The NCMF secretary was joined by NCMF Commissioner Yusoph Mando.
