BARMM provides more village halls to Parang town Maguindanao del Norte

COTABATO CITY -Ministry of Interior and Local Government headed by its Minister Atty Sinarimbo graced on Wednesday, March 15, a groundbreaking ceremony of 5-unit additional, 2-storey village hall in Parang Maguindano del Norte.
The project is worth Php3.5 Million each, Office of Chief Minister's (OCM) funded program implemented by MILG to Support Local Moral Governance (SLMG). 

MILG Minister Atty Naguib Sinarimbo said that it is “the commitment of the regional government for those constituents’ local government units will continue to flow the project and program that the aim is to improve especially the operation of the government so that the service to our people will be better". 

“It does not mean that because we only partner with LGUs, the service is only dedicated to them, but our real aim is that if you have a good village hall, the barangay captains will be more enticing to serve our constituents”.

 Said Atty Sinarimbo Among the recipients’ barangays are Nituan, Magsaysay, Orandang in mainland, BM Biruar and Litayen in Bongo island, while Making barangay hall is ongoing the construction, which means that Parang has six (6) halls in total. When asked Barangay Chief Precious Johanney Biruar of Nituan said, “Kami ay Sobrang masaya sa dami ng mga barangays sa BARMM pero isa kami sa priorities, hindi lang promise, kundi structure na talaga ang nagdating sa amin, maraming salamat sa BARMM government sa pamumuno ni Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim at maraming salamat din kay MILG Minister Atty Naguib Sinarimbo.

” Meanwhile, Mayor Cahar Ibay said, “itong mga proyekto ibibigay ninyo sa amin ay pagbubutihin namin, alagaan at mas lalo pa namin pagagandahin yun po ang commitment namin. Tama po kayo Minister Atty Sinarimbo kapag maganda ang barangay hall, kaayaya sa ating mga kababayan para mag punta ng barangay.”

 “Malaking bagay na po itong barangay halls at ibang mga projects na ibibigay ninyo sa amin, maraming salamat po sa inyo Minister Atty Naguib Sinarimbo at kay Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim.” In the afternoon, the MILG team proceeded to Barira Municipality to grace also, the groundbreaking ceremony of four (4) barangay halls whose beneficiaries were Barangays Bualan, Lipa, Liong and Panggao.
