OIC Gov Macacua wants to hold office at Old Maguindanao Provincial Capitol compound in Sultan Kudarat town

Macacua is temporarily holding office at the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) building along Sinsuat Avenue in this city.

Simuay is just a kilometer away from Camp Darapanan, the main camp of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).

He has called on the other leaders of the region not to belittle President Marcos Jr. on the latter’s decision for his appointment, the Mindanews report said.

He challenged those opposing his appointment to go to the Supreme Court. 

“If they see it as illegal and immoral, if the court says so, then I’m willing to step down,” he said.

Maguindanao del Norte apparently has some potential as far as development is concerned, Mindanews said in its report.
