3 new school buses to enhance education access in BARMM

The buses, funded by the 2024 General Appropriations Act of Bangsamoro, were officially turned over to MBHTE Minister Mohagher Iqbal during a ceremony held on September 17.
Each bus, with a capacity to accommodate 40-70 passengers and seating for 20-30 individuals, will provide critical transportation support for learners across the region.
Iqbal emphasized that the acquisition of these buses is not merely about acquiring vehicles, but rather a strategic investment in the MBHTE's ability to respond swiftly and effectively to the needs of learners.
"This is one of our initiatives to support educational advancement and ensure the future success of our learners," Iqbal said.
Iqbal said, "We remain committed to our mission of leaving no Bangsamoro learner behind."
The new buses will play a crucial role in facilitating access to education for students in remote areas, ensuring their safe and timely transportation to and from school. This investment in transportation infrastructure further underscores the MBHTE's dedication to improving educational opportunities for all Bangsamoro learners.
