BARMM's new airport offices boost investment confidence in Cotabato City, nearby areas

The new offices, inaugurated last month by Transportation and Communications Minister Paisalin Tago, are seen as a significant step towards improving services for incoming and outgoing plane passengers, thereby boosting investment confidence in Cotabato City and nearby areas.
"We are thankful to the Ministry of Transportation and Communications-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao for having established the new offices of these two agencies right at the Cotabato Airport," said Ronald Hallid Dimacisil Torres, chairperson of the Bangsamoro Businss Council.
Torres said that the presence of these offices at the airport complements their efforts to attract investments in Cotabato City and surrounding areas.
He highlighted the MoTC-BARMM's improvements to the Cotabato Airport, the gateway to the Bangsamoro region, as a key selling point for potential investors.
Mohammad Pasigan, chairperson of the Bangsamoro Board of Investments, echoed this sentiment, stating that foreign investors often inquire about the condition of airports and seaports before making investment decisions.
Pasigan believes that the MoTC-BARMM's efforts in ensuring the smooth operation of the Cotabato Airport, located near Camp Siongco, will further encourage investments in Cotabato City and surrounding provinces.
Chinese traders in Cotabato City have also expressed their elation, citing the MoTC-BARMM's ongoing upgrading of the Cotabato Airport and the Polloc Seaport in Parang, Maguindanao del Norte as key factors in boosting investment potentials.
