MILF names Magon Jr. as new spokesperson for Peace Implementing Panel

Cotabato City - The Moro Islamic Liberation Front Peace Implementing Panel (MILF-PIP) has officially announced the appointment of Datuan Magon Jr. as its new spokesperson, effective immediately.
Magon, a veteran peace advocate with over two decades of experience addressing the Mindanao conflict, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role. He currently serves as a member of the Joint Communications Committee (JCC) and the Joint Security Assessment (JSA), crucial peace process mechanisms under the direct supervision of the GPH and MILF Peace Implementing Panels.
 
As a spokesperson, Magon will work under the guidance of the MILF-PIP Chairman, focusing on effectively communicating the panel's initiatives and ensuring the integrity of its mission. His deep understanding of the peace process and his commitment to dialogue and reconciliation are expected to be valuable assets in his new role.
 
The appointment is seen as a testament to Magon's unwavering dedication to peace and his ability to effectively communicate the MILF-PIP's efforts to achieve a lasting and just solution for the Bangsamoro people.
