MP Haron Abas funds community development, healthcare initiatives in Cotabato City

Community Development in Barangay Datu Balabaran:
The Office of Abas, through its 2023 Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF), broke ground on two key projects for Barangay Datu Balabaran, Mother Tamontaka. These include the construction of a 20m x 30m covered court, worth P7.5 million, which will serve as a hub for sports, recreation, religious activities, and community gatherings.
Additionally, the installation of 25 Solar LED Lights, worth P1.315 million, will provide safer and well-lit streets for the community.
These initiatives exemplify the dedication to fostering sustainable development and enhancing the quality of life for the Bangsamoro people.
Strengthening Healthcare Access:
In a separate initiative, the Office Abas, in partnership with the Ministry of Health, turned over medical assistance funds to three hospitals in Cotabato City, as part of its Medical Outreach Program:
1. Cotabato Regional and Medical Center - P1 million
2. Cotabato Puericultute Center and General Hospital Foundation, Inc. - P250,000.00
3. United Doctors Hospital - P250,000.00
These funds aim to provide financial support for urgent medical needs, ensuring better healthcare access for indigent Bangsamoro patients.
These initiatives demonstrate the unwavering commitment of the Office Abas and the Bangsamoro Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim to improve the well-being of its people and strengthen the Bangsamoro Region's healthcare system.
These combined efforts exemplify the dedication to building a better future for the Bangsamoro, addressing both the social and physical needs of the community.
