Cotabato City – Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) Central Committee Chairman and United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) President Al Haj Murad Ebrahim extended his Eid’l Fitr greetings to the Bangsamoro people, emphasizing unity, compassion, and moral governance as key to building a peaceful and prosperous region.

In his video message posted at the social media, Ebrahim highlighted Eid as a time of joy and gratitude after a month of fasting and sacrifice during Ramadhan. He urged the Bangsamoro community to celebrate the occasion with their families and loved ones while keeping the values of patience, charity, and mercy in their hearts.

"As we commemorate this sacred day, may the true lessons of Ramadhan—compassion, patience, and generosity—continue to guide us in becoming better Muslims and in strengthening our Bangsamoro community," he said.

Ebrahim called on all Bangsamoro people to uphold these values in their daily lives and work together in promoting peace, justice, and moral governance.

"Let us unite in building a Bangsamoro that is peaceful, progressive, and rooted in justice, equality, and respect for all, regardless of our backgrounds—because in the end, we are one Bangsamoro family," he emphasized.

The MILF chairman also prayed for Allah’s blessings upon the Bangsamoro, asking for strength and wisdom to continue the path of peace and development.

"I pray that Allah (SWT) accepts our sacrifices and prayers and grants us the strength to live by the path of peace," he added.

Ebrahim concluded his message with well wishes for a meaningful, joyful, and peaceful Eid’l Fitr for all Bangsamoro families.

Eid’l Fitr is a joyous celebration marking the end of Ramadhan, a month of fasting, prayer, and reflection for Muslims worldwide.
