MAFARamadhan Trade Fair 2025 Yields Over PHP 4.5M in Sales

Organized by MAFAR in partnership with EU-BAEP CRESCENT, the trade fair brought together 59 local groups, including 16 cooperatives and associations of farmers, fisherfolk, and Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs), as well as 43 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
The participants offered a wide range of goods—from fresh produce, halal delicacies, and traditional Bangsamoro snacks to handmade crafts, textiles, and beverages suitable for iftar.
The event not only served as a marketplace but also as a celebration of Bangsamoro creativity, resilience, and cultural identity. It provided opportunities for knowledge-sharing, community building, and livelihood support, especially for women-led and indigenous enterprises whose unique products drew attention and praise.
According to MAFAR’s post, the PHP 4.5 million in gross sales represents a major milestone for local businesses. Many exhibitors reported increased visibility, new business partnerships, and potential for growth. The fair’s success is expected to help participants reinvest in their operations and continue scaling beyond the Ramadan season.
MAFAR expressed gratitude to all participating groups, development partners, and the public for supporting the fair. The ministry also announced plans to expand similar initiatives in the future, continuing efforts to empower rural communities and strengthen the local economy.
