PHTTE Set to Host Annual Halal Trade and Tourism Exhibit in Davao City

With the theme "Showcasing Diverse Halal, Halal-Ready, and Friendly Markets of All Regions to the International Arena," the event aims to bring together industry leaders, stakeholders, the academe, entrepreneurs, and consumers to showcase a wide range of Halal-certified goods, products, and services.
The three-day expo will feature a variety of activities including a trade fair, business networking sessions, Halal cooking demonstrations, and support services such as Halal accreditation and business growth assistance for entrepreneurs. Attendees can also look forward to the Halal International Forum, a Halal Modest Fashion Show, a Halal Conference, and a Halal-Friendly Culinary Olympics in the professional category.
Organized by PHTTE, the exposition serves as a dynamic platform to spotlight the growing potential of the Halal industry both locally and internationally. It aims to strengthen Halal enterprises through increased exposure, enabling them to access wider markets and opportunities—particularly within the BIMP-EAGA (Brunei Darussalam-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area) subregion.
Beyond promoting Halal-certified goods and services, the initiative also supports efforts in agricultural development, processing, and marketing that align with Halal standards.
Since its inception, PHTTE has played a crucial role in advancing the country’s position in the global Halal economy. Through its annual gatherings and strong collaboration with government and private sectors, the organization helps propel the growth of the Halal ecosystem in the Philippines and contributes to the broader Southeast Asian market.
