Nine senatorial candidates backed by the United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP), the political arm of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), have been officially declared winners in the 2025 national elections held on May 12.
Based on the results released by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), the UBJP-endorsed candidates who won Senate seats are Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go, Paulo Benigno "Bam" Aquino, Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa, Erwin Tulfo, Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan,
Rodante Marcoleta, Vicente "Tito" Sotto III,  Pia Cayetano, and Imee Marcos.

UBJP President and MILF Chairman Al Haj Murad Ebrahim welcomed the results and thanked the Bangsamoro people for their overwhelming support during the election. In his statement, he highlighted the significance of the victory as a reflection of continued trust in the UBJP’s vision for the region.

“Taos-puso ang ating pasasalamat sa tiwalang ipinagkaloob ng ating mga kapatid sa Bangsamoro. Ang suporta ninyo ay patunay na buhay at matatag ang ating pagkakaisa sa pagtahak ng landas tungo sa mas maliwanag na kinabukasan,” Ebrahim said.
[We express our heartfelt gratitude for the trust given by our brothers and sisters in the Bangsamoro. Your support proves that our unity is strong and enduring as we move toward a brighter future.]

He further expressed hope that the collective efforts of the party and its allies would lead to a more just, peaceful, and prosperous Bangsamoro, where dignity, rights, and culture are fully recognized and protected.

UBJP was established to serve as the MILF’s formal entry into electoral politics, aiming to represent the Bangsamoro people's interests and promote inclusive development. Since its founding, the party has focused on advancing governance grounded in transparency, accountability, and the values of the Bangsamoro struggle for self-determination.

"The UBJP leadership remains hopeful for strong Senate support in shaping national policies, particularly those that affect the Bangsamoro people and their future."
