BARMM Athletes Win 15 Medals in Palarong Pambansa 2025

Among the standout performers were Kieffer J. Lamban from Maguindanao del Sur, who claimed gold in Shot Put (Elementary Boys), and Kieffer Seth Ven from Cotabato City, who topped the Table Tennis Singles event (Elementary Boys). They were guided by coaches Norhasna Totodan and Jerimiah Manatad, respectively.
In the silver category, Abbigail H. Torres of Lamitan City earned a podium finish in Arnis (Secondary Girls), while Cotabato City's Datu Anor Butuan shined in Pencak Silat. Meanwhile, Albretch O. Job and Dhea Angelica Cua teamed up to win silver in Tennis Mixed Doubles (Secondary). These athletes were trained by coaches Edgardo Delica, Leajasmin Maindan, and Roberto M. Espina.
Six more athletes helped round out the region’s performance with bronze medals in a variety of events, including Arnis, Discus Throw, Tennis Doubles, and Taekwondo. Notably, Kieffer Lamban also picked up a bronze in Discus Throw, showing impressive versatility.
BARMM's Para athletes also delivered an inspiring performance, adding three golds, one silver, and one bronze to the tally. Reyniek A. Mobadon of Maguindanao del Sur dominated the Orthopedically Handicapped category, winning gold in Long Jump, High Jump, and Shot Put. Judy Love A. Marcos of Maguindanao del Norte earned silver in Running Long Jump (Visually Impaired category), while Lamitan City’s John Rey M. Bonoan claimed bronze in the 50-meter Butterfly.
