Moro Leaders in Sarangani Undergo Leadership and Governance Training

Traditional Moro leaders in Sarangani Province participated in a three-day Leadership and Organizational Management Training held from June 2 to 4 at Tiera Montana Hotel in General Santos City.
The training aimed to strengthen the leadership capacity of the traditional and other Moro leaders by equipping them with practical tools and knowledge on governance, leadership ethics, and cultural integration.

Raja Muda Abduhamid Ingkong of Sugoda Buayan Royal House and Professor Isnira Baguinda of Mindanao State University–General Santos served as resource speakers during the sessions.

Participants also reflected on their roles in Bangsamoro communities and discussed strategies to address the challenges faced in local governance and community development.

The activity was organized under the Ronda Probinsiya - Sarangani Bangsamoro Affairs Program under the Office of the Governor of Sarangani Province.

The Moro traditional leaders play a vital role in the Muslim communities as peace advocates and facilitators of conflict resolution through the Moro customary laws and Islamic jurisprudence.
