MP Muñoz Extends Eid al-Adha Greetings to Bangsamoro Community

In a message shared ahead of the Islamic feast, MP Muñoz emphasized the significance of faith, obedience, and generosity as central values of the occasion, inspired by the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
"May this day of sacrifice remind us of the values of faith, obedience, and generosity—the very principles embodied by Prophet Ibrahim," Muñoz said.
He called for unity and compassion, encouraging the faithful to extend kindness to those in need.
Muñoz also offered prayers for peace, blessings, and renewed hope for all Muslim families. “May your sacrifices be accepted, your prayers answered, and your families kept safe and strong in the mercy of Allah,” he added.
He concluded his message with the traditional greeting: "Taqabbal Allah minna wa minkum"—“May Allah accept (the good deeds) from us and from you.”
Eid al-Adha, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice, is one of the most important holidays in Islam.
MP Hussein Muñoz currently serves as the Minister of Public Order and Safety in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), where he leads efforts in promoting peace, security, and coordination among law enforcement and local communities across the region.
