Filipino Pilgrims Return Home After Completing Hajj 2025

The pilgrimage, which took place from June 4 to June 9, gathered millions of Muslims from around the world, including 5,000 Filipino pilgrims who travelled to the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah to fulfill one of the five pillars of Islam.
According to the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF), the repatriation of pilgrims was conducted in organized phases, with the final batches expected to arrive in Manila and other regional airports by June 20. Philippine Embassy officials in Riyadh and consular staff in Jeddah assisted in the smooth transition of returning pilgrims, ensuring their safety and providing logistical support.
The NCMF officials headed by Secretary Sabuddin N. Abdurahim expressed gratitude to the Saudi government for its continued support and hospitality toward Filipino pilgrims. The effort of Hajj mission officers and medical teams who accompanied the delegations throughout the journey, helping ensure the health and welfare of the pilgrims was also acknowledged.
This year’s Hajj marked another milestone for the Philippines’ Muslim communities, with many pilgrims expressing their deep spiritual fulfilment and renewed faith upon returning to their families and communities.
