OOBC, SDF-PMO Strengthen Collaboration for Projects Outside BARMM

Cotabato City — The Office for Other Bangsamoro Communities (OOBC) held a coordination meeting with the Special Development Fund Project Management Office (SDF-PMO) to discuss ongoing project proposals from Bangsamoro communities outside the BARMM core territory, as shared in its post on Facebook.
The meeting, led by OOBC Executive Director Noron S. Andan and SDF-PMO Head Engr. Kadil A. Sulaik Jr., aimed to follow up on proposals seeking infrastructure and socio-economic development support for Bangsamoro communities living beyond the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
Andan emphasized the importance of inclusive governance, reiterating OOBC’s mandate to ensure no Bangsamoro community is left behind. "Through this coordination, we are strengthening our commitment to inclusive development," she said.
Both offices discussed areas of collaboration, including project site validation, implementation, and community engagement. They also agreed to set up a regular coordination mechanism to streamline proposal submission, monitoring, and feedback.
The SDF-PMO expressed its continued support for OOBC’s efforts and acknowledged the specific needs of Bangsamoro communities outside BARMM.
The meeting ended with a joint commitment to work together in advancing development through moral governance and transparency.
