
MILF Chairman Meets UNDP Delegation to Discuss Ongoing Peace and Development Initiatives
During the meeting, UNDP-Cotabato Head Winston Camariñas, along with Atty. Mikkoh Ortuoste and Irish Calungsod, shared updates on their ongoing projects throughout the Bangsamoro region, including initiatives in MILF and MNLF camps, settler communities, and Indigenous Peoples’ territories.
The delegation also reiterated UNDP’s steadfast support for the MILF’s efforts toward achieving lasting peace, stability, and sustainable development across the Bangsamoro.
UNDP has been actively involved in the Bangsamoro region, implementing programs that promote inclusive governance, livelihood development, and capacity building. Their initiatives aim to address the unique challenges faced by conflict-affected communities and foster sustainable growth and peace in the region.
