COTABATO CITY — The Office of Member of Parliament (MP) Mohagher Iqbal, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MOH-BARMM), held the turnover ceremony for the Bangsamoro Health Outreach Program for Everyone (B-HOPE) 2025 at the MBHTE Regional Office here on October 16.
The ceremony marked the formal distribution of P2.5 million in financial assistance to four key hospitals in the BARMM, aimed at strengthening healthcare services throughout the region. The beneficiary hospitals are:

- Cotabato Regional and Medical Center (CRMC) — P1,000,000
- Cotabato Sanitarium and General Hospital — P500,000
- Bangsamoro Doctors Hospital — P500,000
- Notre Dame Hospital — P500,000

The B-HOPE program is designed to support partner hospitals by providing additional medical resources to enhance their capacity to deliver accessible, quality, and compassionate healthcare to the Bangsamoro people.

Through this partnership, the program seeks to address service delivery gaps, reduce patient backlogs, and alleviate the financial burden of healthcare for residents.

In his remarks, Iqbal highlighted the centrality of health in nation-building, affirming that “Health is not just wealth but more than wealth.”

He described B-HOPE as a reflection of moral governance and a testament to the Bangsamoro Government’s ongoing commitment to serve its people with sincerity and integrity.

This collaboration between Iqbal’s office and the Ministry of Health exemplifies a unified effort to safeguard the well-being of the Bangsamoro population, ensuring equitable access to essential health services regardless of social status or geographic location.

The initiative underscores the Bangsamoro Government’s dedication to cultivating a healthier, stronger, and more compassionate community for all its constituents.
