PCSO, MOH-BARMM donate Patient Transport Vehicles to Kapalawan municipality

The latest turnover took place on October 24 at the Provincial Capitol Grandstand in Amas, Kidapawan City, where the PCSO officially handed over a fully equipped Patient Transport Vehicle to the local government of Kapalawan.
Cotabato Provincial Governor Emmylou "Lala" Taliño-Mendoza accepted the vehicle from PCSO Assistant General Manager Remeliza Jovita Gabuyo. This donation is part of a wider initiative distributing 158 PTVs across Mindanao, each valued at P2.3 million and outfitted with vital medical equipment including oxygen tanks, wheelchairs, stretchers, first aid kits, and blood pressure monitors.
Earlier, on October 6, the MOH-BARMM conducted a separate turnover ceremony at the Municipal Government Center in Barangay Manarapan, formally donating a Patient Transport Vehicle as part of the Ayuda Para sa Bangsamoro (Project TABANG). The event also included the distribution of rice for nutritionally at-risk children and lactating mothers, led by Member of Parliament Jojo Sinolinding Jr.
Local government officials, Barangay Health Workers, and MOH-BARMM staff attended the ceremony.
Mayor Norman Inalang expressed deep appreciation for both donations, noting their importance in enhancing Kapalawan’s healthcare delivery.
"These vehicles not only provide free and immediate medical transportation but also symbolize the unity among local governments and partners working together to serve our people better,” he said.
The addition of these Patient Transport Vehicles marks a meaningful advancement in Kapalawan’s ability to provide timely and effective medical care for its residents.
