MBHTE invests in healthcare graduates, marking Bangsamoro anniversary

The ceremonial awarding, a highlight of the 7th Bangsamoro Founding Anniversary held at the Sultan Kudarat Cultural Complex, benefited graduates of the Health Care Services NC II program under the 2025 Bangsamoro Scholarship Program for TVET (BSPTVET).
The TSF, a key component of the MBHTE’s Technical Education and Skills Development (TESD) initiatives, aims to alleviate poverty by providing financial assistance to scholars from disadvantaged backgrounds, enabling them to complete community-based and institution-based training.
During the ceremony, five graduates from Notre Dame Siena College of Cotabato, Inc.—Danielle Claire Deboma, Dece Joy Necosia, Norhana Mohamad, Fatma Musil, and Asmaila Dacula—each received P23,040.00. These funds are intended to support their transition into employment and service within the healthcare sector.
Ms. Mina Mangansakan (MBHTE-TESD Cotabato City District Office) and Mr. Rafael Kapusan (Scholarship Focal Person) presented the awards.
The event aligned with the regional theme: “BARMM 2026: Simbolo ng Pagkakaisa, Alaala sa mga Sakripisyo, at Pagpapatuloy ng Mas Matatag na Bangsamoro.”
MBHTE Minister Mohagher Iqbal, in his anniversary message, emphasized the Bangsamoro Government's commitment to self-determination.
"The Bangsamoro is not just a structure of government; it is a promise," he stated, "a promise to create an environment of peace, security, and justice where the dignity of every Bangsamoro is recognized, voices are heard, and institutions serve the common good."
He called for collective action to build resilient institutions and honor the legacy of peacebuilders.
The MBHTE views TVET as a crucial tool for regional stability. By providing specialized skills training in areas like healthcare, the Ministry aims to foster an inclusive Bangsamoro where progress is felt at the community level. The TSF exemplifies this commitment by directly supporting the next generation of Bangsamoro healthcare professionals.
